1. The Adani Airport Holdings has terminated its association with DragonPass, which provided access to airport lounges, with immediate effect.

The Adani Airport Holdings decision comes almost a week after it announced its association. The Adani Airport Holdings, in a statement, said, “DragonPass customers will no longer have access to lounges at Adani-managed airports. This change will have no impact on the airport lounge and travel experience for other customers.”

The company did not elaborate on the reasons for the abrupt end to the partnership.

DragonPass is a global platform that offers lounge access and travel-related privileges to cardholders and subscribed members. The brief tie-up was aimed at extending those services to passengers transiting through Adani-operated airports.

Adani Airport Holdings manages seven airports across India, including those in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Jaipur, Guwahati, and Thiruvananthapuram.

The move follows a formal notification issued by India’s Bureau of Civil Aviation Security under the Union Civil Aviation Ministry, which revoked Çelebi Airport Services India Ltd’s security clearance on 15 May. Çelebi, a subsidiary of Turkish conglomerate Çelebi Aviation Holding, was ordered to immediately transfer all ground handling facilities to Adani.

All current Çelebi employees at the two airports will be absorbed by new agencies, Adani said. “All existing employees of Celebi at CSMIA and SVPIA will be transferred to the new ground handling agencies on their existing terms and conditions of employment,” the spokespersons added.
